I don't know if Antonella is going to love berries or if there is something taking place in my body that makes me crave berries all the time, but when my husband makes me this plates of berries in the morning I immediately know my day will be awesome. Berries are just amazing right now for me, something about pregnancy has made them a must in my home.

Week 32
Weight +24 Pounds
Waist +11.5 Inches
Cravings: Strawberries with nutella
Dislikes: Backache

Week 32 was spent at school, 8 hr days sitting on a school chair is not the best for an aching back but I made it! I made it guys! It was a long week but I was drinking my water, taking breaks and walking around the campus so I made it through.

We also started washing her clothes last week, we have almost everything we have washed and ready for her to star wearing it. We have diapers for about 5 days so if she comes early we should be fine. Except we haven't gotten the car seat, we have to get a car seat.

Her room is coming together as well, as soon as we are done I'll post some pictures. It's a fun, simple room. I like it and I am sure she will like it too. We got a white, old rocking chair on craigslist and I love it, I just have to find a pillow for it because the back needs a little bit of support. I need to get an ottoman too, and then we'll be done with her room. I found a few nice, affordable ottoman on etsy and I might just go that route.

Antonella keeps on growing and kicking, I have been getting more and more tired and I wake up a few times a night from her kicking, or because I need to go to the bathroom. I think the interrupted sleep has me tired, but again, it is good training I guess.

Semana 31
Peso +24 Pounds
Cintura +11.5 Inches

My husband's very first Father's Day with a baby on the way was really fun. It all started at 4am for him. He woke up that early to go to the Picken's home to make donuts for all the father's at Urban. I wasn't allowed to go because I am so very pregnant (pfft, not ok!), but he said he had a great time, and I don't doubt it, the Pickens are so much fun.

We went to church, and after church we went to Andres restaurant for Cuban. K wanted that so that is what he got. And then we came home and he watched the basketball game and we just cuddled. He was so tired and had not seen me much all week that's all he wanted to do.

It is so nice to spend time with him, my favorite time of the day is when we wake up and spend a few minutes just there, laying in bed, saying good morning and just being together. And to my absolute pleasure he loves it too.

My husband is going to become a dad in 4-7 weeks and I am so excited for this little girl to spend that morning time with us. I can picture them together and I know she is his already, he is going to be such an amazing dad, she doesn't know it yet, but she is blessed beyond belief.

Happy Father's Day Husband, I LOVE YOU!

In the past our friends the Millers have taken pictures of us, and we have taken pictures of them. Since PJ made her appearance 8 months ago, they hadn't taken many pictures of the whole family and Caleb and I are pregnant so we decided to drive up to Poway and take pictures of both families. Mel took pictures of Caleb, Antonella and I, and I took pictures of the Millers (which I will show in a future post).

I had a different outfit planned out for my pictures, one that would showcase the belly a bit more it so everyone could see Antonella a bit more, but when I arrived to Poway I realized I brought a shoe from one pair and a shoe from another pair, so I had to wear the black dress and smile. Oh pregnancy brain you got me again!

Week 31
Weight +22.5 Pounds
Waist +11 Inches
Cravings: All sorts of berries, particularly strawberries
Dislikes: My backache =/
Week 31 was super fun, my back started aching more than ever before, we had our first birthing class and we had our last monthly doctor's appointment (they are bi-weekly now).

Antonella is seriously running out of space in my belly, she tosses and turns all the time and her limbs poke me everywhere, you can see her coming out on my side by about 2 inches, it's very surreal. Caleb and I have tried to capture it on video but she stops moving as soon as we start recording, little punk. Because she is getting so big and my torso is so short and small my upper/mid back has been hurting a lot. K massages me every night and that is such a great help, he also makes me epsom salt baths and makes every effort to make me feel comfortable, even talking to miss A to ask her to move out of my rib cage, it's very sweet.

We went to the doctor and she said I was measuring a bit small, nothing to worry about though, she said I am measuring a week behind what I am supposed to be, it's all good. She also asked me to show her my kick log and she was very impressed by what an overachiever miss Antonella is, she gets 10 kicks in under 3 minutes most days. She is still head down but she obviously has no dropped, she is still pretty up high. All in all things are progressing just fine. We also had a med-student in the room this time around, she was so nervous, it was kind of funny. Made me think of my sister; I can't picture her nervous though.

The midwife took quit a bit coming into the room so Caleb and I got bored and played with everything, I cried laughing after the air we blew on that glove came right back and filled his cheeks, it was hysterical. I think they heard us because 5 seconds later they walked in.

We also had our first birthing class this week. It was really interesting learning about birth, and different stages, and what they will look like, and how Caleb can support me through the entire process. We get 5 more classes and we cannot wait.

We are so excited to meet A, I am getting more and more anxious, the birth part doesn't freak me out as much as raising a child does. I really want to do a good job so we've been praying a little extra for wisdom and understanding. I know God will raise her alongside us, so it'll all be good!

Semana 31
Peso +22.5 Pounds
Cintura +11 Inches
Antojos:Cerezas, frambuesas, otras esas incluyendo muchas fresas.

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App Lose clothing, dresses, leggings and my denim jacket have been my to go for the last few weeks. Up until now I have not gotten any maternity clothes, or new shoes, which explains the look of my poor feet after wearing gladiator sandals and walking for too long =/

If you have ever been to our place you know everything is small. It wasn't something we chose, it just came that way. My husband hits his head on everything, he is just too tall for this house. Well in Colombia everything is small, it's a dense city and people try to make the most of space.

While we were in Colombia he was walking up these stairs, remembered he had to get something, turned around and hit his really had against the ceiling, that's right the ceiling. I had forgotten until I heard a loud banging coming from the kitchen last night (he hit his head against the pots), and decided to share it with you all. The pictures were taken 3 seconds after he hit his head.

K and I have been married for three years. Our wedding was such a fun day, I loved it, but honestly every day after has been just as amazing. God has blessed me tremendously with the most thoughtful husband, he's sweet, and considerate, and strong, and sensitive. I really do love him, and these last 3 years have been the best years of my life.

To celebrate we went to the Melting Pot downtown. When we arrived they sat us down and the table had rose petals and a sweet anniversary card, Caleb had arranged for all of that, I told you he's so thoughtful.

We like to stick to our budget so we had a discount coupon that would have saved us some money and as soon as they sat us down and I admired the petals and the card Caleb told our server we had the coupon, she then proceeded to let us know we had a credit in our favor from a friend. We knew immediately it was from our pastors. They had asked where we were going and we thought maybe they would ask them to give us a card or a note, but we weren't expecting the nice surprise of credit. It was such a blessing.

We loved dinner, because honestly melting pot is outstanding, we laughed and chatted and remembered all the crazy things that happened this last year and after we walked around downtown for a little bit and walked by the Starbucks where my husband first told me he liked me. It was a pretty low key day, we agreed we wouldn't give each other gifts and for the first time in history K complied with the agreement, and it was all just perfect.

We came home afterwards and spent some time praying and thanking God for all he's blessed us with, and that completed the day perfectly. Our celebration couldn't have been better.

Happy Anniversary Husband, I love you.

I haven't been wearing much makeup during the week and it feels great!

Week 30
Weight +21.5 Pounds
Waist +10 Inches
Cravings: Strawberries, lots and lots of strawberries
Dislikes: Oil still not fun, but not as bad.

This past week we started using Coconut oil for my belly as opposed to the one we had been using and it's not as oily which has made my fight with oil much nicer. I still dislike the oily belly but it's much more bearable.

I've been really warm, it's crazy how hot you can get even as 2 fans are blowing air your way. Caleb is freezing, sneezing, and covered with an extra blanket at night and I am still hot. It's pretty interesting in certain situations where I can't do much but just smile and use whatever I can get my hands on to fan myself. I probably look desperate sometimes haha.

I feel like I have started to feel the crazy hormones more and more, I almost cried over not being able to eat at a certain place, and even though I knew I was being irrational I couldn't help how upset I was, Caleb saved the day like he always does by using his charm to get them to sell us food, but WWIII almost broke out in San Diego. We laughed about it afterwards, both of us were quite shocked my reaction was so intense. I am so glad Caleb was the only one who saw me.

Aside from the crazy hormones and the crazy temperature things have been moving forward as expected. We have started counting A's kicks and she gets 10 kicks in intervals of 2 mins - 12 mins so she is completely fine. We both had dreams in regards to delivery and they were both amazing dreams of a calm baby and calm parents so that was fun, and hopefully they are prophetic =). Next week we update on our first birthing class and a visit to the doctor!!

----------

Semana 30
Peso +21.5 libras
Cintura +10 pulgadas
Antojos: Fresas, muchas muchas fresas.

Seguramente me veo desesperada jaja.

We obviously are having a baby, most pictures in May are belly pictures. There is also the occasional food picture so that's good.

May was a good month, I grew quite a bit and we started planning for baby A's arrival, so that was fun!!

April in pictures here
