April was so much because we got to see lots of family who came and visited, and that is always a good month. And then we also chased a baby who learned to climb on everything, eveything, E-VER-RY-THING! So April was one adventurous month.

Antonella week 35

Antonella Week 35

I am playing catch up here. This week Antonella started enjoying food a lot more according to the notes I took haha, which was fun.She also went to the pool here in San Diego for the first time, and even though the wind isn't warm, it isn't really cold and she enjoyed it.

Antonella Week 19

In honor of Christmas week we decided to take Christmas-y pictures this week. Doesn't she look beautiful? This week Antonella mastered the art of spitting ha, yeah spitting. She also started seriously teething and she also has learned a few new words. Days just are more and more fun with this little one. 

She is also a pro at biting her toes now and lifting her body and bottom. We think we might have a crawler soon, we'll see. 

Antonella Week 12

 

Antonella is almost 3 months old already! Time has gone by so fast, I feel like just yesterday she was born. She is such an amazing baby girl. She sleeps 7 hrs at night wakes up, eats, gets changed and burped and sleeps for another 3 hrs. So at night time she is a doll! Naps during the day however are a different story, she fights them so much she ends up exhausted and a little cranky, and then she starts sucking her thumb and she puts herself to sleep. She is so much fun, I love spending my days with her just getting to know more and more about her. 

Antonella Week 11

We took this picture on the actual day she turned 11 weeks, November 1st, but we didn't get to upload them until now. It's been busy around here.

On week 10 leading up to week 11 Antonella started to suck her thumb more and more, she continued to giggle and she dressed up for the first time. I'll upload pictures of all her awesome outfits soon.

She is such a joy to be around, she makes my heart leap and she brings a new peace to our home we had never experienced before. I really didn't know I was going to love her this much, I could have never imagined it, I love her more than I knew I could love, and she has taught me to love her poppa more as well. He is amazing with her, and quite stern I must say, I am the one that breaks every time she curls her little lip and makes a sad face. I love her and I love my life with Caleb and her, everyday is such an amazing gift, I feel blessed beyond belief.

Antonella week 7

 

Week 7 was a big week for Antonella. She started wearing older clothes, her shorts are 3 months and a little big still but whatever and she started to interact more during facetime with family (pics coming soon).  

We miss our family all over, it's hard to be away from everybody but technology does help a bit. 

September in pictures

 

September was a fun and crazy month. From introducing Antonella to our busy and fun lives to traveling with a month old overseas, the entire month was full of activities. It also included my birthday and lots and lots of family time. We loved it, September was an amazing month.

A friend of mine saw three pictures much like these on Pinterest when I had just recently found out I was pregnant; so we decided to borrow the idea and do it ourselves and here is the result.

 August was one exciting month, from the last weeks of waiting, to the excitement of having our baby in our arms, August 2012 will definitely be remembered forever.

 July was a month of big bellies and getting A's room ready. No baby yet in July, we'll have to wait to meet her in August.

We obviously are having a baby, most pictures in May are belly pictures. There is also the occasional food picture so that's good. 

May was a good month, I grew quite a bit and we started planning for baby A's arrival, so that was fun!!

Dad + Mile and Juli

While Dad, Mile and Juli were here we went out and took some pictures of them, I am happy my dad and Mile are such a wonderful marriage, I am so encouraged by them and the way they raise Juli; he is one awesome young man.

Well I made a card for them to send to their friends and family, so from the Varela family, Merry Christmas.

 I took some pictures of Willie, Mile and Juli and made a card for them and this is the result. They had never gotten pictures taken of them after the wedding so I am glad we were able to get some pics. They are a cute family and I am so glad God blessed my dad with Mile and Juli, I love them and they are without a doubt God send.
