More cousin fun

After trying to take pictures of all 4 cousins together for about 20 minutes, we ended up with these one that is kind of ok. Kids are hard to photograph together goodness. On other news isn't my sister in law beautiful? she is an amazing momma and a sweet sweet sister.

We decided all the girls had to wear pink swimming suits and the boys blue swimming trunks.

Cousins play time

I grew up seeing my cousins all the time, ALL THE TIME! And I remember having so much fun with all of them. I was the oldest grandchild, the next one was my sister, and then a whole bunch of others all a year apart. I remember planning games, and bossing them around, and fighting, and getting in trouble, and laughing, and playing. I loved growing up having so many instant friends.

Antonella is growing up in a city where we don't have a lot of family. We are so very fortunate she has her church family (who love her just like a cousin would), but there are days I get sad because her cousins are all so, very far away.

I am grateful for the times she gets to spend with family, and seeing her with Titus was such a joy. He wanted to come close to her and she didn't really know how to play with him. I am looking forward to future Button visits where Titus will be older, Antonella will be older, Sophie and Maddie will be older; and they will be able to interact so much more. While that takes place I will smile looking at these pictures, I love them.  

Cousins and Aunt Karen

Quite at the beginning of the year we went to Palm Springs to visit Aunt Karen who was in the States from Turkey and to see Angie and the cousins. It was such a fun time, and more posts about it are about to flood my blog, in the meantime time in the pool with Aunt Karen.

Looking at these two together melts my heart. I did found favor in the eyes of God because He gave me them and they are beautiful and my life is made beautiful by them. 

Caleb is such an amazing husband, and he's just as good a father and Antonella may not know yet, but she's been blessed beyond belief. Don't you love them together?

High Chair

 

 To begin the year Antonella decided she was ready for a high chair, and she sat there for a good 20 minutes and she was so amazingly good. We were excited for the possibility of having dinner without carrying a baby, we'll see how that keeps working out for us.

December in Pictures

What a fun year 2012 was. Here is the last monthly post of 2012 and I must say December was a good month; not only did my husband turn 33, but we also got to celebrate Christmas with our baby for the first time, and we had all sorts of fun. So excited for 2013 and so beyond grateful for 2012.

Puzzled

Pool momma has been getting puzzles the last few times we've visited and right after we start I wonder what I was thinking, these 1000 piece puzzles are serious work. 

Pool time again

Antonella went back on the pool. We try to get her in the pool for a little bit so she'll kick and kick and kick and then have a great nap time. She really loves the pool, and seeing her in her bathing suits makes it all the more fun.

Family Pool Time

First thing in the agenda while in Palm Springs: Pool time. Antonella really enjoys it and so do we =D.
