Caleb and I have been moving, which explains why we haven't posted many things lately, but we went on facebook and asked if anyone had boxes and in 24 hrs some people from our church family had dropped all of this boxes and bins off. Aren't we blessed? It is awesome having such wonderful people around us while we are so fr from family.

My friend Jess got married this past week (and pictures of the wedding will come soon), so I decided to have a little get together as a bridal shower for her. All the ladies helped to put it together and we had such a great time. Jess received a lot of gifts which might have embarrassed her a little, but they provided entertainment for the rest of us. I am excited for her and Bert, her fiancee, and we are believing God will use their marriage in amazing ways.

Remember Aubrey? Well she is growing! and her and Antonella will be best friends one day as her momma and I were pregnant at the same time and she helped answer a thousand questions for me (Aubrey was her second, Gibby was her first).

Here is a picture of Brandon+ Aubrey and Caleb+Antonella. They are good dads, and I can't think of something more important for a little girl than to have a good daddy. So blessed we have men like these in our church. Aubrey and Antonella are blessed beyond belief.

As you all know Caleb and I each lead a Community Group (CG), his is for men only, mine is for ladies only. We meet the same night and at the same time but at a different place. We love our CGs and we go on 12 week sessions and then take a two week break and re-launch. So we had our 12 weeks and the ladies and I got together to have dinner and celebrate what we learned the 12 weeks before. It was a great time! We talked about what we had learned, ate together, and thanked Kristi for joining us and helping us with the teaching part of the CG. She is moving to San Francisco for a season so she won't be able to join us and share her wonderful wisdom with us, but she'll be back and we'll insist she join us again until she's so annoyed she does it.

I am grateful Caleb and I get the opportunity to meet with people every week and learn with them and from them. It is fun to prepare for CG and see everyone being challenged in their faith and growing. Next session we start in May, and we cannot wait!

At our Easter service we had an artist, Clarion, transform a painting of a seemingly dead scene to a vibrant scene of a river during the coldplay song "Paradise". He was outstanding and the message about Luke 23:42-43 tied in perfectly with the painting. If you weren't there and would like to listen to the message, here is the link to the podcast.

For the last 4 years we have put together a community wide Bunny Bash and free Easter Egg Hunt for the San Diego Community. This year was the first time we had it on a Saturday and it was incredibly fun. We love seeing all the little kids running for eggs and oh so excited about the prizes.

Can't wait for next year, OH MY GOODNESS Antonella will be around next year CRAZY!

We were in Texas all week at All Access conference with our pastors. We got to stay with Josh and Brooke and meet Gwen and the new addition to their family Freddy.

We didn't have internet at night and then we were at the conference the whole time so we didn't get to update our blog. The conference was great we learned so much, we are excited to sit down at home and determine what steps are we supposed to take now, what is it that we are going to do with all this information. We'll see what comes from it.

We are creating a video for Easter Sunday where we will use some of the stories in the book Urban launched. I am so excited to see how the video turns out, it's going to be great. If you want a book email me at jluehmann@urbanchurchsd.com and I'll make sure you get one.

Urban Church is officially 3 years old, and we celebrated with everyone what God did last year and what we know He will do this coming year. I love my church, I really do, I love the people that come and absolutely love God, I love those that know nothing about Him but came to figure things out, I love those who are getting to know Him still, I love everyone. I've learned so much since I started the journey of planting a church, Urban has not only been my church but it's also my family, the place where some of my closest friends are and where my marriage has grown..

Happy Birthday Urban Church, we are blessed and honored to be here.
