To invite people to the Sexual Revolution we went out to mission beach and pacific beach to hand out bracelets and lip balms. We divided into different teams and our team was taking the boardwalk, we handed out so many bracelets, it was awesome. Sure it is a little bit out of most people's comfort zone to go out and speak with strangers about a Sexual Revolution, but reality is that when you believe that what you are doing is something important, and something God is calling your church to do, you get over the discomfort very quickly.

After our hard day of outreach we decided to see what all the frenzy was about and went over to Five Guys, it was ok, but I must admit I have had better hamburgers. I guess I just like hamburgers that have real meat, like real thick meat. I don't know, maybe my expectations were so high that I ended up disappointed. Whatever the case, we crossed that off of our list of places to visit in San Diego.

When I was a little girl being 29 seemed so far away that it was almost never going to happen. I remember thinking 29 would be a fun age, I was going to have my own business by then, I was going to start thinking about marriage by then, I was going to be a grownup. I didn’t have all of them wrong, it will be fun!

PhotobucketMy life plans where ok, but the life I have far exceeds any plans I had ever made. My life is not just ok, it is the best life I could have ever asked for. I married much earlier than I ever thought I would, and my K is the second best decision I ever made. I don't have a business but instead I've given myself to ministry and plan to keep doing that, and I wish I would have made that decision earlier in life. It's funny how us being the closest to ourselves don't have a clue as to what is the best life we can have. Sure we can all achieve an ok life, but the greatest life can only be lived if it is our Father in heaven dictating every step.

I am excited for 29, it will be an amazing adventure, the Lord will take me new places I have never been, show me new things I have never seen, and love me in new ways I have never experienced. We will grow further in love, and we will walk through the paradise He has set up for me, talking through the decisions that need to be made and learning the importance of my trusting Him completely.

This new year I want to see more people I love meet my Father, I want to speak about Him with all the friends and family that are still living an ok life but not yet experiencing the fullness of life. I want to declare His goodness, and talk about His grace and that unbelievable gift He gave us in Jesus Christ. I want to be used by Him so others can see Him through me.

I love my life, it isn't perfect from the outside, but it is far beyond perfect. Everything I have, everything I am, everything in my world, everything is beautiful.

PJ was born in the middle of the night, which was great because I know all she was doing was waiting for it to be September to then join all of us; but it was also hard on her parent's rest. To give Brandon & Mel a little break K and I took Bishop and Hannah out to dinner. Those two are non-stop fun.

You know my friend Mel with the two adorable kids? Hannah? and Bishop? Yeah, so they just welcomed baby #3 and she is perfect. Her name is Pierslyn Jean and she is one long baby girl. We love her already and we are curious to see what her personality is like and what she looks like a bit more. She is one blessed little baby, her parents are wonderful and her siblings are amazing and oh so much fun.

Congrats Brandon & Mel & Hannah & Bish, we love you all too!

Meet Joel, he was born August 30th, just a day shy of being full term, the little munchkin just couldn't wait. Madelyn, his momma was brushing his arms, toes and back with her hands as it had been two days since he'd been born yet she hand't had a chance to hold him.

He was a premature baby so he was kept in the NICU for a few days but thankfully he was completely fine and was released. Now he's home with his 3 siblings.

Congrats Curtis and Madelyn, he's beautiful.

Our Friend Curtis writes awesome rhymes, and he wrote some for the Sexual Revolution, so we recorded him and put him up on YouTube. It's awesome and you all need to watch it and share it with your friends.

Ps. Curtis and his wife just welcomed their 4th baby last week, he is beautiful, I will upload some pics here soon.

So going back to Erin and how much we are going to miss her, here are a few pictures of a small party we threw for her in our backyard. It was fun and then the next morning she woke up early, we loaded up her car and she left.

I am so proud I call her my friend, she is amazing, she is obedient to God's call and she is a blessing everywhere she goes. Erin we are praying for you, we believe in what you are doing and those children are blessed you are there. Love you!

We went to the last wedding of the summer a couple Saturdays ago. Lauren and Ervin said I do here in San Diego in a pretty wedding by the ocean. Some of their decorations included peacock feathers which reminded us of our wedding in Colombia, so that was sweet.

We also we got to see our friend Vic -in the red dress-. Vic and I did an internship in Las Vegas together and I haven't seen her since the internship ended three years ago. She looks wonderful as usual and I am hoping we will to see her soon again, even though she lives on the other side of the world in Australia.

All in all it was a fun Saturday, congrats Lauren and Ervin!

Remember we told you Erin is moving to San Felipe? Well for the last days she was in San Diego she needed a place to stay, and we were delighted she chose us and our home. We got her flowers and decorated the spare room for her. We made sure everything was ready for her and tried to make her feel as comfortable as possible. We really will miss her but we are so glad we got to spend so much time with her before she left, and we cannot wait to hear all the amazing praise reports from her time in Mexico.

Our friend Johnny and Maria invited us to Chula Vista to the best sushi place we have ever been to. One of the rolls had friend banana on top and as bizarre as it sounds, let me tell you it was outstanding.

We love Johnny and Maria so much, they are the most gentle people we have ever met, so sweet and considerate. I love them for many reasons, one of which being that they are dependable and trustworthy; two qualities we highly admire on people. It was a wonderful time and we cannot wait to go have the banana roll again.
