La Jugueteria (The Toy Store)

My aunt Lili and her husband Javier invited Caleb and I to lunch at La Jugueteria (the toy store). We didn't have our camera so iPhone pictures in a dark place had to suffice. 

The place is so much fun! There are toys everywhere, old toys! That is their thing, they put toys and toys and more toys. We sat by a group of people having a birthday party and their table was decorated with tons of toys and tons of balloons and when the staff came out to sang they all had more balloons in their hands, as soon as they were done singing they popped all the balloons and the whole place clapped and cheered; pretty different from any other restaurant celebration I've ever seen. 

They sell mostly steak, it was great food and the dessert was outstanding, we had a three layer cake with arequipe (Colombian caramel), tres leches (a Colombian dessert) and chocolate cake; man I am craving it right now. 

It was so nice of them to invite us to lunch, we love them and miss them and we are hoping to see them in San Diego sometime soon!!
