Our friend Carla turned 20, and her mom Maria threw her a masquerade party. We were a bit early to the action, so we had a chance to help with last minute details and enjoy some fun conversation. We really love Carla, Maria, Johnny, Cathy, and everybody else in their family; they are amazing people who love God and are wonderful examples of righteousness for everyone around them. We had a great time and right before leaving Maria made the most amazing tea from teavana, best way to end a lovely evening.

Happy Birthday Carla!

Once again we made our way to the farmer's market in Little Italy. This time we got Mexican mint to grow in our backyard, we still have it but i have to admit it's not doing well, we'll see if we can bring it back. If we succeed with the mint we will try oregano, basil and a couple other things. I hope we can make the mint live and grow healthy, I love the idea of going to my backyard for spices and such. We'll see.

Our brother made dinner for all of us while he was here, and as usual it was outstanding!

K decided we had to take profile pictures of everyone, even little river, so we did. I really dislike mine, he took it as I was complaining about my hair being too awful for pictures, and I guess I learned about complaining, or not.

My sister Angie cuts hair, and she does quite an amazing job at it too, sometimes she even cuts her own hair, which is quite incredible. Well she is pregnant right now with baby #3 and that makes the task of cutting her own her a bit difficult. So I suggested she go to ARCS to have Rachel cut her hair.

Unfortunately Rachel wasn't available, but Amanda was and she did a phenomenal job, Angie loved it and I enjoyed hangning out at ARCS even if i didn't get anything done, it's just a fun place.

We had not been to Crest Cafe in so long that when Brandon & Mel suggested we all go there we might have had dreams that night about french toast Crème brûlée.

We love Crest Cafe, it's one of our favorite places in San Diego, not only because the food is creative and delicious, but also because it brings great memories.

It was fun to hang out with some of our closest friends and our family at the same time. Especially knowing we all share the same love for God, we all value our marriages the same way, and we all strive to be good examples to others. We feel so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing couples, it is just the best.

Since we liked Craft & Commerce so much, we decided to take our family to try the amazing burgers and delicious corn dogs, and much like us they loved it.

We realized we love knowing great paces and telling people about them, and taking them. We like being 'tour guides' maybe we should start a business or something.

Luc & Angie came down to San Diego to visit us! And Luc's brother Joe and his wife Amy drove down from Monterrey to spend some time with all four of us too. All of them decided to stay with us at our place, which we loved, so our living room ended up hosting our blow up mattress where K and I spent a few nights. We spend a few fun days with the 4 Buttons (that's their last name)

It was so fun to have family in town. I had never met Amy before, and I am so glad they came and I got to meet her and chat with her, she is wonderful! We now want to go up to Monterrey to visit Joe and Amy, and while we are driving we might as well just keep going all the way up to Blaine, WA to see Luc, Ang and the babies. We'll see!
