We were babysitting our pastor's daughters this weekend and we had such a busy Friday ans Saturday we figured we had to have some fun on Sunday. So we decided to go to Belmont Park here in San Diego after church. We played some mini golf....

Pretended we were being attacked by sharks....

Went to the restroom and didn't notice the seat cover attached to the shorts (yeah that happened! I was so concerned about the girls not touching anything I left the restroom with the seat cover and walked around for a good 25 minutes without noticing until K saw it as I was shooting basketballs)

We got a ton of tickets at the arcade that we traded for a few fun goodies
We had some shaved ice and cotton candy

And we stuffed ourselves with them. It was such a fun afternoon, we love the little crazy girls.

My mother in law has so many body washes is just crazy to shower at her house, so many options and they all sound so exciting. I've had a chance to try them all and even though they are all amazing and they all smell wonderful I have to admit my favorite is this one by Melaleuca. Their whole Body Satin collection is incredible and you leave the shower feeling truly rejuvenated and soft. If you have a chance you need to try it!

Isn't this picture adorable? I had forgotten about it and then I was going through our pictures trying to find something and ran across this one. It was at one of our friend's house. We were having a meeting and the girls wanted to watch a movie so they laid in bed, cover themselves up and we put the movie on. We didn't hear from them for a good hour or so. They are so cute!

Mrs. Basse is now in her 34th week with Mr. baby Gibson in her belly. Her mom threw her a baby shower and of course I was there! We had such a great time celebrating Courtney and Gibson, we played games, ate, opened gifts, took pictures and made plans for Gibby.

I can't wait to meet the little man, me and K will definitely be the kind of friends that spoil people's kids =D

Beca, Erin and I

Beca, Erin and I became close while in Vegas a couple years ago. All three of us were going through an intense 9-month discipleship program and we realized we needed each other to make it through so we leaned on one another. Both Beca and Erin were so good to me even though I wasn't always that wonderful. God really blessed me with them and I love them dearly.

Well Beca is in Tijuana at the moment and she also is having her birthday this coming week, so to celebrate she decided to throw a party yesterday. Erin and I hoped in the trolley and crossed the border without even thinking about it. We miss Becky here in San Diego so any opportunity we get to see her we will take. Hopefully I'll get to see her again soon!

Happy early birthday Becky!

It was established already that I love pens and file folders. Well it turns out I love magnets too. So yesterday when Kris and I were at Target finding a gift for Baby Gibson's baby shower and we saw this cool $1.00 magnets I knew I had to get them. They are just so convenient for me, I put everything I need to remember there and I am never late paying any bills, sending any cards or buying any groceries. The moment I decided not to put something in the fridge door is the moment that thing doesn't get done.

Kris liked my magnets but he got confused as to how to use them, he's foreign =D

K and I serve in Kids at our church once a month. We are usually with the kids under 3 which is super fun for us but can also get overwhelming. Last month when we served we had just a few kids and the service went a bit long so all the activities and different games we had we had already done and the little people were getting anxious in the kids room. Do you know what happens when just one kid gets anxious in a small room full of little people? yeah all of them get anxious and feed on each others anxiousness. I came up with a solution; nerds!

I grabbed a small box of nerds, put it in my hand and let them all have a few, it was hysterical, they were all quiet, and complete concentrated on getting those nerds. K thought it was bad "parenting", but effective and funny so he got a video.

Ps. Their parents got there shortly after we got done with the box of nerds so it actually did work, it would have been bad if it would have been another 30 minutes!

So there is this song by Vampire Weekend called Run and me and K love it! Every time we listen to it we can't help but dance and dance and dance. We were in the car a couple of days ago, I put on the song and my love just started dancing away. I was hysterical! I love him, he's so cute and such a goofball.
