And then I imitated the outfit. I had a hat earlier but then I lost it =/ and i had a necklace but it's hiding behind the shirt haha. But what is really exciting is that I was able to wear shorts!!! It was so nice and warm, 74 degrees to be exact, and I was so excited to wear shorts again. K didn't want to be in the pictures today so we skipped him but he'll be back tomorrow with a big smile!

We got a new dresser, the best part about it, we paid $45 for it! We got it at Pat's Corner, a store owned by a lady named Pat -obviously- who has all this old furniture. They paint it for you and you truly can find the coolest pieces there, we just don't have space for anything else (we are still on the lookout for some cool, functional nightstands).

Alayna is a great cook. Me, well, I am not a great cook... heck who am I trying to fool, I am awful. Alayna and had been cooking for 3 minutes and I had the kitchen on fire, literally. Thank goodness I was able to put the fire out before it became too serious. She made one of my favorite dishes, stuffed bell peppers. I think I know how to make them know, let's just hope I don't destroy the kitchen when I attempt to make them on my own.

Hubby and I were walking to our car after the girl's performance and we saw a fun church building with a cool red door so we asked our friend Alayna to take a picture of us... and she did so good.
So for some odd reason I forgot to bring shoes to Palm Springs, all I had were the boots I wore yesterday but those were obviously not going to work with my clothes. So we had to go to Old Navy and get some affordable sandals, hence the bright blue sandals on my feet... who goes out of town without shoes? I guess I was excited to see our sisters, momma and poppa =D
So there is this girl who has a blog and I look forward to her posts every day, she just has the greatest wardrobe/style ever. So today I wanted to wear my leopard print flats because they have neglected for far too long and I had no idea how to do it, so I went to her blog for inspiration and I obviously found an outfit to immitate... sure sure I don't have the high waisted trousers or the hat but you know what I was working all by myself, from home 85% of the day.
I know most of you don't know what that is, but that is ok, one day you'll visit Colombia and you will be enlightened. Tonight my K is working until late, since I miss him so very much I decided to make myself something that wuld make me happy: arepas and milo and then I decided to fill out our census paperwork.
