We had a bonfire at Coronado Beach and a whole bunch of people from the church came. Bonfires are just the most fun part of summer, especially when you are surrounded by cool people with amazing life stories. K donated his shirt to me which was amazing because it got a bit chilly out there and we got to know a few people better. We just love our church, every person there is just amazing and testifies of God's goodness in such wonderful unique, ways; we are so blessed to be a part of Urban Church.

Continental is a popular card game in Colombia that all Colombians at Urban Church are trying to make popular in San Diego. So far it is working! We played with our neighbors and friends some days ago and had such a great time. I didn't do so well, but I had fun so it was a success. We need to plan a monthly Continental party or something for more people to love it.

Our friend Erin is moving to Mexico as a missionary, she will be in San Felipe working at Sonshine Hacienda. You can visit her blog at http://erinmissions.blogspot.com and stay up to date with her adventures in Mexico.
But since she is leaving she wanted to cook for us and other friends and we decided to eat on our roof. She made some amazing food and it was fun to get together, and chat, and have a good time.
We are so proud of Erin, and we cannot wait to hear what the Lord does in her and through her in the lives of the children of Sonshine Hacienda.

Remember the concert we went to with our new friends? well we came back, and that last picture, they are our new friends, they brought caramel corn and homemade donuts, amazing!
This time around a few more people joined us and we had such a fun night listening to outstanding live music and seeing people dance and have fun. I really do love San Diego, so many great things to do especially with great people.

Bishop is 3 now! When we met him he was in his mommy's belly. Mel and Brandon had the best idea to celebrate his birthday, rock climbing. The cupcakes had jelly beans that looked like rocks and for the kids that didn't want to climb there was a craft called 'adopt a rock' where kids would decorate a rock, name it and put it in the pet box. It was so much fun and so creative. K and I enjoyed being there and seeing Bishop devour his cupcake, every last bit of it.
Happy Birthday Bish, we love you so much and we really enjoy listening to you talk.
