Meet Katina, Karrin and Khouri. Aren't they lovely? All three of them are part of Urban Church, and the girls have left to spend the summer in their native NC. We knew we would miss them dearly so we decided to invited them over for s'mores and a movie.

They loved the s'mores (as did we), and we had a great time chatting with them and with Katina. We really will miss them through the summer but it is fun to know they will be spending time with family and traveling.

We have so many weddings this summer, it's exciting!

Last weekend I was invited to Kitzya's bridal shower, she is so beautiful. Jonathan, her fiancee, and her have a beautiful story, we loved hearing all the things the Lord has done in them and though them.We had a chance to chat with them through their Pre-marital counseling and get to know them better, and we are so excited for their wedding day and all the plans God has for their marriage, we can't wait to dress up and celebrate with them at the end of July.

Our friends Brandon and Julia had us over for fondue last week. We all helped getting the meal together and then the dessert ready and it was nice to have a night with friends, good food and great conversation (and lots of laughter I might add).

Thank you for having us over Mr. & Mrs. Vegas, the funny remarks will never be repeated, promise ha!

Meet the Prelle's, Eric, Sarah, and 3 beautiful baby girls. Their youngest, Anaiah was being dedicatedat church last week and we we were to witness it. They make a wonderful family and their daughters are such well behaved little ladies.

After the baby dedication, Mr. Luehmann shared a little bit with the church about tithes and about mean people, it was really funny and a great message on money and the church. He is such a wonderful man, I love that he trusts God with our finances and he obeys God with our finances. All in all a great Sunday morning.

Happy Father's Day daddy!

My dad is the most fun dad, I have so many incredible memories with him (Este, Oeste, Este, Oeste, Oeste, Oeste or el sonido de la carretera haha).

A few years ago when a few people were asked to share with me their favorite thing about me, half of them said they loved my relationship with my dad. I never knew it was something out of the ordinary, I thought it was just how dads are. Sadly I've come to realize that's not true, my dad is a special kind of dad, the kind of dad that will pick up his phone at any time of the day (or night) to listen to me cry, or complain, or rejoice; and who will give me a piece of wisdom and love that will trade all sorrows and complains into opportunities to give thanksgiving to God. He always said he tried to treat us the same way he saw God the Father treat him. His efforts were not in vain, not once have I doubted his love or protection, not once have I questioned his discipline or correction, not once have I worried about his provision; my dad is a wonderful, outstanding, out of the ordinary, award winning dad.

When I was growing up (and up until I was about 22), he used to blow his right cheek, both my sister and I knew that meant he was asking for a kiss, and today I wish I could see his cheek go round so I could kiss him to thank him for what a wonderful father he is, and how blessed I am to have him on my speed dial.

I love you Daddy, next time I see you I gotta get a round cheek!!

I love you Willie, you are the best dad in the world

Kristi & Jonathan are getting married and she decided to have a very unique bachelorette party, she had all of her friends and family invited to dinner up in San Onofre and after we went to a campsite she had reserved and made s'mores and chatted and laughed. Some of the ladies stayed the night with her and spent the day shopping in San Onofre.

It was such a nice time, and dressing up is always fun. By the way isn't Kristi beautiful? Jonathan is one lucky guy.

Last week I went to tea with a friend to a place called Cafe Basaam. It was such a nice afternoon of chatting and looking at all the fun things hanging on the walls. In the process of our conversation my friend gave me a card for my anniversary and said such wonderful things about K and I. It was a great gift from God to have her encourage me with her sweet card and her words.

Coffee tea with girlfriends is the best time!

A few pictures of my husband's trip to Alaska, he shared with all the kids from the youth camp, and saw a glacier, and 6 black bears. He didn't send me many pictures, obviously the obsession with pictures is not a family trait, but he did send me these and I am so glad he got to go and spend time with the kids in Juneau and our pastor. God just blesses us in the most unexpected ways.

K was in Alaska last week and I was left alone, so the first thing we did when he got back was take silly pictures, because you have to.

I had never been away from K since we got married and I really thought I'd be ok, but I missed him more than I thought I would, I couldn't sleep and morning were awful. I love my husband and I love him being around as often as he is, and I am glad he was able to go to Juneau but I am really glad it was only a week.

I love this video, the girl playing the violin played at my wedding too and she was amazing as were are all of the musicians from El Lugar de Su Presencia, not only at my wedding but every time we visit the church, excellence is taken seriously.
