I had quite the busy week, I have been on the go for over 10 days and by Friday afternoon I was exhausted. During my lunch break (that I never take) I decided to go up to the roof at my house and lay on the hammock. Fell asleep and if you've ever been here you know I live right under the airplane path, so this huge airplane flew over me, startled me and just like that I fell from the hammock. I really wish someone would have been there to see how comical the scene was.

So a little bit of rest, a little bit of sunshine, a little bit of laughter makes this picture my photo of the week.

This week has been loooooooooooong, I've been in school all week and trying to juggle things I have to do with being at school for the entire day. It has been a great week, I love when I go to school and learn amazing things I didn't know before. I love sitting next to pastors from all over and hearing their stories, their successes, their failures, their ministry. And school being so incredibly awesome helps with the exhaustion, but thankfully my K makes me tea every morning.

I don't know if he realizes how much it means to me that he wakes up with me and makes me a tea as I get ready and how much it helps that he makes me one for the go.

I really like having my husband.

We started the Sexual Revolution a few weeks ago and one of the speakers we have had is Annie Lobert from Hookers for Jesus. Annie shared her testimony, she talked about her life as an escort for 16 years and how God grabbed a hold of her heart and her life a few years ago.

it was such an honor to listen to all that the Lord delivered her from and how He protected her all through the years.

If you want to listen to her message visit our podcast

My husband got me in the car a few Saturdays ago, he gave me some cash and then dropped me off at the nail salon. He knows I won't go myself so he makes me go. It may not seem like a big deal to most people, but to me him doing things like those is so incredible. I love my husband, I love love love love love how much he loves me, I love that in the small things he shows he cares.

Thank you K for my blue nails and orange toes!

I have two again... I like these photos because they make me laugh and think of my future children, and then I get super excited, and then I get overwhelmed, and then I get nervous, and then I get sad, and then I get confused, and then I get happy, and then I look at the pictures and laugh again.

Husband is very very very good at making sure we go on dates, sometimes he concocts a fun home date, sometimes he takes me out. What is a fact is that they are always lovely.

This was on date night in Palm Springs a couple weeks ago... dinner, a movie and time in the hot tub... I told you, lovely!

For my birthday I got a fondue set...woo hoo!!! So we had some friends over at our place and at cheese until we couldn't stand it anymore.

Is there something more delicious than melted chesse over veggies or bread? I don't think so. Next Fondue party coming soon!

Remember Joel? Here are his siblings and him at their place. K and I made dinner for them a couple weeks ago and we hung out with the kids for a while. They are so much fun and they are all so smart and beautiful. Curtis and Madeleine have done a phenomenal job, we love hanging out with good parents that understand the importance of raising their children properly.

By the way they are looking for a 3 bedroom home, they want it to be very affordable so if you know of any good rentals in San Diego let me know!

We went over to our friends Josh and Jess' place for dinner, donuts and some Mexican train. I made dinner; my legendary chicken stroganoff with white rice and sesame broccoli made a good impression. Josh and Jess made the most outsanding donuts I have ever had. One was a pumpkin cake donut with walnuts on top, and then there was a PBB&B (peanut butter glazed, banana creme filling with caramelized bacon on top) donut that melted in your mouth, most outstanding donut I have ever had. If you want to know where to get these donuts follow @Aroma_of_Life on twitter, all info is there.

After eating until I couldn't open my mouth anymore we played some Mexican train, I was doing so bad I started spelling our names with the dominoes. As always it was a great time with the Pickens.
