Our house guest

Remember we told you Erin is moving to San Felipe? Well for the last days she was in San Diego she needed a place to stay, and we were delighted she chose us and our home. We got her flowers and decorated the spare room for her. We made sure everything was ready for her and tried to make her feel as comfortable as possible. We really will miss her but we are so glad we got to spend so much time with her before she left, and we cannot wait to hear all the amazing praise reports from her time in Mexico.

Johnny & Maria

 

Our friend Johnny and Maria invited us to Chula Vista to the best sushi place we have ever been to. One of the rolls had friend banana on top and as bizarre as it sounds, let me tell you it was outstanding.

We love Johnny and Maria so much, they are the most gentle people we have ever met, so sweet and considerate. I love them for many reasons, one of which being that they are dependable and trustworthy; two qualities we highly admire on people. It was a wonderful time and we cannot wait to go have the banana roll again.

Bangs and neon yellow

 

Since the summer is rapidly slipping through our fingers I decided to paint my toes a neon yellow to celebrate the last few weeks of summer. And with cooler weather I also welcomed the return of bangs! It is so difficult to have good looking bangs when it is really warm outside, but during the fall I can manage some decent looking bangs across my forehead. The only bad thing is that the last few days have been the warmest in San Diego, so my bangs have been looking a bit crazy, oh well, one can't always look wonderful ha.

Playing with Nate and Ace

 

Our friends Steve and Linda invited us over for steaks, we were thrilled because we love spending time with them, and because they have a reputation of being amazing cooks. The food was outstanding and the conversation was great; and we got to play with the kids; Nate and Ace, they really have great boys that are so much fun. 

Thanks for having us over guys, we had a wonderful time.

Happy Birthday Pastor Katie

 

Our pastor, Katie, had her birthday a couple weeks ago while her and the entire family was in Palm Springs for their yearly trip to the desert. We were in Palm Springs too and met up with them for dinner to celebrate. Our pastors have the best daughters and they both wrote letter for their mom, Faith, the youngest, wrote a letter were she told her things wouldn't be right without her, she also drew everyone in the family but Katie with sad faces; it was adorable. 

It was nice being able to celebrate with her, we love our pastors and we are so honored we get to spend time with them and see how both their public life and private life is coated with integrity; we are blessed to call them pastors.

Marbles

 

 So in Palm Springs there are many many many marbles and K and I needed some to finish filling up our marble frames. We went through a lot of them and I just had to divide them by color and size. There are some beautiful marbles there and also there are a LOT of marbles. Palm Springs is always fun.

Pool Momma Products

Pool Momma products is back with a beauty serum! 

I didn't bring my moisturuzier and No7 protect and Perfect Beauty Serum was Pool Momma's suggestion. I loved it, it's wonderful and it is also inexpensive as far as good face products go. I recently saw No 7 products at Target and there are some pretty wonderful things; check it out!

While in Palm Springs we decided to look at pictures of K when he was a little, cute boy. I won't put that many here since he'd rather I didn't. But here is a picture of his maternal grandparents. Aren't those pictures beautiful? K's grandma is Italian and his grandpa was french and they were a handsome couple. I am excited to see how much French and Italian our little ones have in them.

We went to Palm Springs with our friend Erin to spend some time with her before she left to go to San Felipe, and we were greeted by the coolest chicken! My mother in law is so fun, I love her.
