Bike ride

Before Serah had to go back home we went for a bike ride around town, it's so nice to ride our bikes to Coronado Island and hang out there, it feels like vacation except we are 5 minutes away from home. Serah loved Coronado and riding bikes with us so we felt like decent hosts. It's really not hard to entertain people when you live in America's finest city.

Ladies Night

Caleb and I met a new couple a few months back and they've become good friends, we love Nathan & Melinda and it turns out works with Mary Kay as a consultant and she's a wonderful one too. So last week I invited a few ladies over to my house so she could give us all a consultation, it was a little ladies night that included make up and great facial products. 

In the meantime Caleb was playing basketball with other guys from church so it was perfect.

The Gaslamp

We walked around the Gaslamp with water bottles because San Diego is trying to pretend to have a winter right at the end of the season. 

Serah liked downtown even though we didn't see a lot of it, Caleb and I love walking around the area and seeing all the people walking around, and the musicians playing on street corners, and the restaurants hostesses smiling at you trying to allure you to eat at their place, and the lights, and the pedicabs; just the life you see everywhere. If you don't live in San Diego and visit make sure to enjoy the gaslamp, specially during the day or on a night that is not the weekend.

Sunset at Sunset Cliffs

Can you see the balloon?

We went to Sunset Cliffs after Balboa to watch the sunset; it really is one of the most beautiful places in San Diego. It is so beautiful to look at the sun come down in the horizon and enjoy the magnificent ocean in front of you. We truly live in a gorgeous city, and we need to pay sunset cliffs at least a monthly visit, it's to pretty and too close to not go.

Balboa Park

Everytime someone comes into town we take them to Balboa Park, not only is it a beautiful place but it is within walking distance so obviously our visitors get to see America's largest urban cultural park and Serah was no exception.

Anniversary Celebration

We had a couple guys join us for a song during worship, they rapped and it was super cool. 

The Anniversary Celebration was such a fun time, worship was awesome, Pastor Ben spoke about faith and stirred ours as we were called to change our circumstances for God's vision for our life and after we had cupcakes and fun treats. I love my church, I love serving alongside all the wonderful people God has brought to our lives and I am excited to see what year 3 has in store.

Our friend Serah came from Columbia, South Carolina to celebrate at church with us this weekend. She used to live in Vegas when we lived there so she had In-N-Out available to her but after she moved back to SC she hasn't had it close to her, so we knew we had to take her and right after Vision Night we headed to the closest In-N-Out with a few friends and enjoyed protein style burgers. 

Now I am craving one, crud.

Vision Night

We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary as a church this past weekend, it was such a wonderful time and it all started with Vision night on Saturday Night. We all got together with the partners in Ministry and talked about what the vision for year 3 is. Let me tell you guys it's going to be AMAZING!

Caleb and I are excited to serve in San Diego, at Urban Church, we know God has great plans for this next year and we get to be a part of them!! 

On other news our friend Adrienne brought her baby girl Elizabeth who was born a little bit more than a month ago. She's precious and Caleb had a hard time giving her back to her mommy.
