Their food is awesome, just awesome...we ordered three entréesfor the five of us and we had left overs; everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. We definitely picked the right place for Aunt Claudia and Mapis' last meal in America.

Aunt Claudia and Mapis had to be at the airport at 330am so we decided to go to LA a bit early and just hang out before going to the hotel. They had never really been to LA so we showed them a couple places and they felt the exact same way I feel about the city.

Oh LA what will we do with you?

My aunt, Mapis and I went to walk around the beach the day before we headed to LA to drop them off at the airport. It was such a beautiful day, we enjoyed looking at houses and dreaming about what it would be like to live right there in front of the water; we even asked for a couple if house prices (the one we loved was a beautiful 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom corner house for $8M).

I love showing my family the peace I experience on a daily basis, it raises questions I love to answer. Next stop LA!

So I had to paint these flower buckets for church. I went to the art store ask the guys there what they thought the best kind of paint would be and then headed home with spray paint and started paint. I didn't really think of gloves until I was way too committed to stop. The result 50 minutes of scrubbing my hands before I could get rid of all the black spray paint.

LA is quite an interesting town; the kind of town that you want to avoid, but can't help but want to explore further and further every time you visit. The kind of town that you never want to see again, but where you end up looking at house prices.

It's a dichotomy that city, and I usually find myself right in the middle of it's two natures swerving from one side to the other. One day I'll have to make a decision and love it or just have it erased from my map.

Husband and I love to dance and dance and dance, so we take every opportunity we have to do so; no matter where we are if we can dance we will dance. It's actually funny considering I've always danced Latin dances and he's danced swing and hip hop. He tends to move his upper body a lot more than I am used to, and I try to follow but sometimes can't because I am not expecting those moves. We'll keep practicing and we will come up with our own awesome type of dance!

Last Sunday K and I were serving at Urban Kids at church. We always have so much fun with them, even when they are cranky and moody, which was the case this week. Kids are adorable and we love hanging out with them at church and teaching them about God. This week we talked about obedience and I had them do the things I was doing and imitate my every movement so they would understand what obedience is. They were so cute trying to imitate my words and movements, I really enjoying my Sunday a month with them.

I love Orange Julius... My husband used to always stop there and have a smoothie but I never really cared to try them until one day I did, and now I can't walk by one without craving them so badly I end up buying myself a small cup. It's a wonderful midday snack.
