11 months ago today...

We said I do!! Can't believe it's almost been a year now, time really flies when you are having a blast.

And as my 11 month anniversary gift I got these pair of cute shoes, so yes we cheated, but in our defense they were $10 at Urban Outfitters and my K wanted to give me something for our anniversary, so it's ok. I gave him nothing =/ but I'll make it up to him, I have my tricks!

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo was so much fun. Our friends that just got engaged threw a party and we all had to wear Mexican outfits so we did our best and Ben in the first couple pictures won best outfit. Even though my K wasn't able to be there and I missed him we had a great time.

We were hiding with Ben & Katie, eating kettle corn and waiting for the right time to come out.

4 of the people in this picture are over 6 feet tall. That's just wrong! The tallest couple here, Karolyn and Josiah just got engaged a few weeks ago, I took their engagement pictures, so you'll get to see those soon!

Our friends Sam & Jen got engaged last night at the ballpark. She didn't know we were there so we had to hide until the 5th inning when he was going to propose. Due to some technical difficulties and the fact that Jen did not see the screen that said "Jen I love you, will you marry me" he had to wait until the bottom of the 6th inning. And we came out of hiding and celebrated with them.

They had never kissed before, they wanted to get to be engaged to kiss. So the picture of them kissing at the ballpark is a glimpse at their first kiss, isn't that cute?

After Sam proposed we all headed to Jen's place where their roomates had a party for them. It was so much being a part of it all, we are so very happy for them and we are praying this new season is the most joyful yet!

We had some friends over last night. Like good San Diegans most of them were a bit late, so while we waited for them we decided to take pictures, I put the camera in front of us in automatic continuous shutter and our friend Jonathan (in the black shirt) decided to pull a stunt while Nick (in the baby blue hoodie) was barely blinking... it was hysterical. A few minutes later another few friends showed up and our teeny apartment was packed, we LOVED IT!!!!

For dinner Tranica (the other beautiful brown girl in the pictures) made spaghetti squash, me and K provided chicken.... everything was delicious!

Ferry ride to Coronado and a Picnic by the water

Monday is our day off, and we love being able to spend the day together. Yesterday K came up with a great idea, he thought we could ride beach cruisers to the harbor, get on the ferry, go to Coronado, ride around in Coronado while we sang the soundtrack of West Side Story, have a picnic by the pacific ocean and then when we told pool momma about our plan she reminded us we had to dance, dance to each others music.

So just like that we had a phenomenal day off and we put an outstanding dancing performance for the city of San Diego. San Diegans and so did the two ladies sitting behind us that could stop laughing.

The day was beautiful and today not only do I love San Diego more than yesterday but I love my K more than I ever thought I could love somebody.

As far as the outfit it was not ideal for bike riding but it was cute =D... I was asked by my husband to change into tennis shoes every time we were riding so I just carried the sandals in his backpack, having an understanding husband is the best!

Friends & Family weekend continued...

Friends and Family weekend at Urban was amazing! We gave away over $500 in gift cards and prizes, ate pizza donated from Pizzicato and had too much fun. The Friends spoof was on this weekend and everyone loved it, I'll upload it as soon as we have it up on youtube. We had to wear red for our First Sunday and K and I tried to rock the red, he also decided to make fun of me during picture taking time the naughty boy. All in all the weekend was beyond amazing, God is good!

Friends & Family weekend begins!

Today Urban started their Friends & Family weekend. It was so much fun, I wish my K would have been there but he had to work, fortunately he will be able to be there tomorrow. After church a few friends and I went out to neighborhood, a nice burger place in East Village (with a picture of Jesus in the door). Matt, one of our friends (the only guy in the first picture), is moving to Texas tomorrow so we all went out to dinner with him.

On non-related news, I hadn't worn that little tutu skirt in a while and I was excited to wear it again, there is just something about tutus that makes me happy, isn't it just a cute skirt? if you have a tutu you should wear it tomorrow, if not you should get yourself one, it'll make you smile!

Salad, salad and more salad!

We went to souplantation with Amanders again and we had so much salad I think we won't feel guilty if we have some junk food today haha (yes, I know that's not how it works). If you have never been to that restaurant you should try it. Not only is it affordable, but it is good and healthy.

Now we are getting ready for our church's Friends and Family weekend, it's going to be amazing. We partnered with WalMart and they are donating things people return so we can give them out for free to anybody in need, and Pizzicato in Bankers Hill donated pizza and salad for anybody that comes on Sunday. I am really excited to see what happens this weekend and how the church blesses the community. If you are in SD come and visit!

My beautiful, amazing, wonderful, wise mommy had her birthday today. My K and I filmed a Happy Birthday message and sent it to her. We really wish we lived closer to her so we could give her a big hug, but the videos will have to do for now.
