Cousins play time

I grew up seeing my cousins all the time, ALL THE TIME! And I remember having so much fun with all of them. I was the oldest grandchild, the next one was my sister, and then a whole bunch of others all a year apart. I remember planning games, and bossing them around, and fighting, and getting in trouble, and laughing, and playing. I loved growing up having so many instant friends.

Antonella is growing up in a city where we don't have a lot of family. We are so very fortunate she has her church family (who love her just like a cousin would), but there are days I get sad because her cousins are all so, very far away.

I am grateful for the times she gets to spend with family, and seeing her with Titus was such a joy. He wanted to come close to her and she didn't really know how to play with him. I am looking forward to future Button visits where Titus will be older, Antonella will be older, Sophie and Maddie will be older; and they will be able to interact so much more. While that takes place I will smile looking at these pictures, I love them.

Week 21

Feet are so incredibly fascinating right now. Scooting keeps turning more and more into crawling, but it is still very much scooting haha. Antonella keeps growing by the minute and we keep hoping she'll slow down but we love seeing her learn new things every day. 

She stares at our food like she wants some, but we decided we were going to wait until she was 6 months old, so we are waiting. It is not like she's dying of hunger, she gets plenty of food around here. 

Since feet are so very exciting she has learned to take her shoes off and has been throwing them all over, so we lost the first shoe ever this week. Her cute tan boots, so sad.

Cousins and Aunt Karen

Quite at the beginning of the year we went to Palm Springs to visit Aunt Karen who was in the States from Turkey and to see Angie and the cousins. It was such a fun time, and more posts about it are about to flood my blog, in the meantime time in the pool with Aunt Karen.

Looking at these two together melts my heart. I did found favor in the eyes of God because He gave me them and they are beautiful and my life is made beautiful by them. 

Caleb is such an amazing husband, and he's just as good a father and Antonella may not know yet, but she's been blessed beyond belief. Don't you love them together?

Antonella got this awesome winter coat/outfit from Pool Momma, and we live in San Diego. So as soon as the weather went down to 40F I decided she had to wear it! No, it wasn't necessary but I don't really care ha.

Week 20

Antonella has been getting more used to the ergo, but it is still not her favorite thing in the world. She has also been busy scooting herself everywhere she wants to go. She is so eager to move and go places on her own, she is a little crazy like that. Still wearing 0-3 month clothes and a few 3-6 months.

High Chair

 

 To begin the year Antonella decided she was ready for a high chair, and she sat there for a good 20 minutes and she was so amazingly good. We were excited for the possibility of having dinner without carrying a baby, we'll see how that keeps working out for us.

For New Year's Eve, Ashley, invited us to her house for her annual party. A lot of our friends were there and we had a great time singing and playing games. Caleb had never sang on karaoke before so I asked him to do Summer nights with me and we had fun singing together, we might just make it a habit. 

We have or list of things we are believing God for this year, and we are excited to see what He has planned for us.
