Antonella Week 11

We took this picture on the actual day she turned 11 weeks, November 1st, but we didn't get to upload them until now. It's been busy around here.

On week 10 leading up to week 11 Antonella started to suck her thumb more and more, she continued to giggle and she dressed up for the first time. I'll upload pictures of all her awesome outfits soon.

She is such a joy to be around, she makes my heart leap and she brings a new peace to our home we had never experienced before. I really didn't know I was going to love her this much, I could have never imagined it, I love her more than I knew I could love, and she has taught me to love her poppa more as well. He is amazing with her, and quite stern I must say, I am the one that breaks every time she curls her little lip and makes a sad face. I love her and I love my life with Caleb and her, everyday is such an amazing gift, I feel blessed beyond belief.

Bert and Jess Alaniz

Remember Jess' bridal shower? Well a couple of weeks ago the three of us went to the wedding and it was so incredibly beautiful. We are so excited for Jess and Bert and all the Lord has for them.

On a non related, kind of related, note. that was the only dress I could fit into, but it wasn't ideal for breastfeeding purposes, it was quite interesting to feed Antonella during the wedding. I made it work and ended up hiding in a room in the kitchen. Oh Antonella how you have changed my life in so many ways ha.

Congrats Bert and Jess! Can;t wait to see what the Lord has planned for you as a married couple.

October in pictures

 

Yikes it is November already. This years has gone by so incredibly fast. Last year today I wasn't pregnant and my life was so very different, so wonderful, but so different. 

In October this year we had a blast, we were busy busy busy as usual, but we had a blast. I try not to add so many pictures of Antonella on our monthly pictures (since I am actually doing a separate project 365 just for her), but it's really hard, she's too cute.

Last Friday wewent to the Pumpkin Patch. It was my first time at one since we don't have them in Colombia and I had never really had a reason to go to one. It's fun, and I am sure it gets more and more fun as you kids get older. We took a few pictures and then left because it was way too hot. I guess San Diego didn't get the memo about Autumn.

Antonella Week 10

I know I upload more and more pics on the weekly picture of Antonella, but it's just so hard to choose one or two pictures, I think she looks beautiful in all of them haha.

This week Antonella started grabbing things, I love when she grabs my shirt, I feel like she doesn't want me to go anywhere, and good for her I don't want to go anywhere either. She is such a sweet sweet baby girl, she goes everywhere we go, runs around with us and never complains, she just sits in her car seat, makes the best faces and talks to us. I never thought I was going to love her so much, she's just my favorite.

She has been sleeping really well too, actually she has been sleeping well at night but fighting naps during the day. Some days she got herself so exhausted from fighting naps she would end up really cranky from 7-9pm. But she sleeps between 6-7hrs at night, wakes up, eats and sleeps for another 2 or 3 so we can't really complain.

Next week is Halloween week,  I am really really looking forward to Antonella in costumes woo hoo.
