Halloween Day in Julian

We think he was trying to scare someone, it was funny/weird to see him up there

That's my face after I saw an incredible amount of weird mosquitoes and started to run back to Caleb.

We went to to Julian to celebrate Halloween day there and just do something we don't generally do. We had such a great time with all the children dressed up and walking around the main street collecting candy. What a whimsical little town Julian is. Before getting there we stopped at Lake Cuyamaca and took a couple pictures and enjoyed the weather and the amazing the view. On our way back we stopped at this beautiful field and just hung out for a while talking about life. I love my husband and taking short little fun trips with him. 

We'll see where we go next!

Pure Wristband

 

For the Sexual Revolution we had wristbands made and I love wearing mine. Evidently I am not the only who loves it, Elizabeth is quite fond of it.

I am really bad at painting my own nails but here they are, I like making my index finger pop, after all it carries a reminder of my second wisest decision. 

Vitamins

This are the crazy amount of vitamins my husband makes me takes every day, it takes me about 45 minutes to take them all and he just takes them in two swallows. And it's that time of the day right now... vitamins here I come.

Sticky Teams

Caleb and I attended the Sticky Teams conference with some of the Leadership team from Urban Church and we loved it! We are excited to implement some of the things we learned. If you are part of a ministry (or any team really) I highly recommend going with your entire team to the conference next year, great stuff!

Feathers

 

With high heels, necklace and husband I made my way to Vista, CA to do some homework. I am trying to join the rest of the world with the whole feather frenzy, I still feel weird wearing them but I think they look beautiful in people's hair, or as earrings or necklaces, I just think I look too "native" and I am not so I feel strange. I don't know. I am venturing though so we'll see. 

Buns are the best

Can anybody think of a more amazing idea than making head buns trendy? I can't, it's awesome knowing that if I want to spend a few more minutes in bed I can because after all I can put my hair in a messy bun and voila I look great. Add to the bun the perfect tea my husband makes me every morning and the ability to wear a chunky sweater in San Diego and I am a happy woman.

Ladies Breakfast

The ladies of Urban had breakfast together, and it was wonderful. A professional therapist joined us, shared with us and had us work review the way our relationship with our parents has affected the way we view God the Father. After her brief talk we sat in round tables and discussed our personal findings and prayed for one another. I don't know if men feel the same way when they get together, but for us ladies hanging out with one another is just amazing fun. I love hearing from other women and spending time with ladies that not only understand me but can give me valuable advice. 

Can't wait till we meet again!

Collective Reading

 At school the teacher projected Ephesians 4 unto the board and after reading it 4 different times, 4 different ways we started going to the board and highlighting pieces that spoke to us or our ministries. The Bible is so amazing, to hear how many different things the same passage was passage was speaking to so many different people was incredible. The Word truly is living an active and sharper than any two edged sword.

Dinner with Tranics

We had dinner with Tranics in Little Italy to further celebrate her turning a quarter of a century. I had been going the whole week on about 5 hrs a day of sleep and you can tell by the picture I was ready to go to bed. But I am really really glad we got to have dinner and celebrate one more time a friend who never ceases to amaze me with her diligence, wisdom, faithfulness and love for others.
