After church on Sunday everybody came home to relax and eat. Maff and I cooked stuffed bell peppers while the boys were catching up on World Cup events and scores. Despite my K's face the bell peppers were wonderful, he loved them and so did everyone else. After dinner K and I decided to dance to Shakira's World Cup song, Waka Waka (This time for Africa). I love dancing with my husband, the fam loved our dancing moves and we all can't stop singing Tsamina Mina eh eh waka waka eh eh tsamina Mina zangalewa this time for Africa! (If you haven't listened to it check it out).

Saturday started at 8am with boot camp. Our friend Jen Douville (soon to be Jen Jacobs!) put a boot camp together for the people of Urban; me, my sister, brother and cousin decided to join and we must admit she kicked our hiney, my brother didn't eat anything beforehand and ended up throwing up. It was such a great way to start our day, wish we could afford her on a more regular basis.

We ran errands, had lunch and went to church church later during Saturday. My brother decided to practice his bass skills while everyone was at prayer before service.

Right after church we went to Cafe Coyote to celebrate Amanda's 21st birthday. She was in town from Vegas and it was a great opportunity to say Happy Birthday and see her after way too long.

We had quite the eventful Saturday, so much fun!

Today I had a few things to take care of at Urban, so my family decided to hang out at the pool of our office pastor's house building. They had a great time and I came up when they decided to have a snack. Starting Sunday and until Wednesday my attention will be back on them.

My sister is 25! So we celebrated her birthday and made sure she got everything she wanted for her birthday. We sang in the morning, gave her her gifts, took her to breakfast and then went back home to get ready for the day. They took a walk around the harbor while me and K were at work. We met once we got done with work, saw part of the World Cup opening ceremonies and then headed over to our pastor's house to watch the NBA game, play yahtzee and cut the cake. It was a fun day and I think my sister had a fun. I love her so much, God blessed me by letting me spend her birthday with her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEBECHICHO!

The family and I went shopping and right after we were so hungry we ate a bit too much. So to fix the problem we decided to take a nice walk to Hillcrest. The day was beautiful and my cousin Kristian and brother Wilson decided to get grass shots at Jamba Juice half way there, which made them feel even more full... boys!
I love having my family in town.

We spent the whole day in LA having fun and visiting landmarks. I love my family, I am so happy they are here. It will be a fun month!

Today was our official 1 year anniversary and we had a busy day ahead of us. In the morning we went to church to help set up for First Sunday, right after we drove to Laguna were we had at 230, a restaurant that had been reccomended to us many many times (and for a good reason the food was wonderful). We walked around Laguna and had a wonderful time together.

After spending some time in Laguna we went to LA to pick up my sister (not in pictures today at her own request), my brother and my cousin. They flew in from Colombia today, they are going to be with us for a little bit less than a mont and we are super excited to spend time with them. We went to dinner at in-n-out, went back to the hotel, watched a movie and relaxed for the rest of the night. It was such a fun day. I really do love my life!

It's the time of the year when kids get to show their parents and everyone else that loves them what they have been working on for the last few months. Cara an Faith had their ballet performance today and it was truly amazing, they are such graceful, beautiful little girls. I really can't wait to see my kids perform and look adorable in their costumes, it's just so much fun!
