My dad got married, he had been believing God had a great wife for him for years, and like always God came through and dad married the most amazing woman. To make it all more fun and incredible he also got a new son, and I got a new brother, Julian (in the fourth picture) is the sweetest boy, and my sister (in the fifth picture) and I are excited to have another brother!

Congrats dad!

K and I went down to Ralph's to get groceries for apple and brie soup. We are pretty excited to make the soup but more than that we were excited to be a part of Tom's day without shoes here are the pictures of our adventure!

San Diego was warm yesterday (and today!), I had to run a few errands and I was on a bike so I decided shorts it is. I didn't take pictures until K got home from work around 11 so once again the pictures were taken in our living room.

In other non-related news, today is Tom's one day without shoes if you didn't join one of their walks, take your shoes off, take a walk, take a picture and tweet with #hardwithoutshoes. Our pictures will come later today!

Remember the Space Makeovers? Well a great girl who has worked on videos for Invisible Children helped us put this video together. Thank you so much to all who helped, it truly was an amazing day and we are still seeing the fruits of your support.

So my friend Alayna would not stop about Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. A new show about a British chef that went to America's unhealthiest city and started a food revolution with the school district and some families. She loves to cook and even though I do too I thought it was a food show she was texcited about but I wouldn't like. But then 3 more people told me about it and one of my favorite bloggers wrote about it and I kept hearing about this Jamie Oliver dude. So last night K and I watched an episode and we loved it so much we had to watch the next one. The show is really good, it prompts you to action, it makes you not only want to raise healthy children but also start a revolution somewhere, K and I wanted to go out and start something! Extra bonus; when the show is over you can't help but talk with a British accent, need I say more? go to Hulu and watch it, you will love it.

Ps. Alayna I am sorry we didn't listen in the first place, we will trust your judgment from now on

Husband has been having back problems for a while now so we decided to get an inversion table with part of our tax refund, we are praying it helps his back, he seems to have fun in it so that's a plus. While my K was at work today I had a chance to run a few errands but I am still not feeling 100% so I looked a bit... hmmm weird, I had no energy to do my hair so I threw a hat and the huge black circles under my eyes were irreparable so I just lived with them all day. I believe I will feel better tomorrow and K's back will be healed with the inversion table yay!

I wasn't feeling great today so most of my day was spent at home trying to feel better but later in the afternoon husband thought it would be a good idea to get out, so we walked around Little Italy visited our friends the Stensons, went for frozen yogurt and then visited the boys house (a house where 4 of our church's most wanted bachelors live). It was good to go out but you can see in the picture in the middle I am still not feeling great and how much taller my husband is than me.

K is great at taking care of me so that's good so I know I'll feel much better tomorrow!

This little girl and her family came to the Egg Hunt and had a blast. Her two brothers left with Easter baskets and i had to snap a picture of her playing with the eggs, isn't she adorable?

K after the Egg Hunt with our friends the Vega's. Look at Julia's pixie cut, I know about 4 women that can pull that off, she is by far one of them!

Today we went to church at 815am, it was Bunny Bash day! We were so excited about the bashing of the bunny and the Easter Egg Hunt. I actually didn't get pictures of the bunny piñata that got bashed because I was doing a video but I got some of the Egg Hunt. You can see Husband in the Egg Hunt picture helping some kids out, he's such a good man!

Since I was the one with the camera today no pictures of me were taken, so K took a few when we got home after dinner, I wore a cute purple cardigan for church but I also rode my bike home and was too hot to put it back on so pics went out with no cardigan. Those are the shoes I got, I cheated, they were a phenomenal deal, they were 60% off an then they gave me a little scratch card that gave me an extra 25% off so I ended up paying less than $40. I am getting the money back as a gift, I am so spoiled!

On other news we felt an earthquake here in San Diego, it was actually quite scary, 7.2 in Baja California, lasted for 40 seconds. My K was at the store getting pies for dinner and I was home alone waiting for him, I wish he would have been with me, but I am really grateful nothing happened to him, or any of our friends. I guess the year round sunshine has it's price.

Today San Diego wasn't as warm as I would have liked it, only 62 degrees haha. It was actually beautiful, I was happy to go out and play in the sun. I pulled out a spring shirt tucked it in and put on a brown belt, and then I got home after a long day, took the belt off and took pictures, I totally forgot until I saw the pics and I am too lazy to take the pics again, so there they are without belt. I also got new shoes, long story, I am sorry and I'll tell you all tomorrow

Happy Easter Weekend!

Our monthly date with Amanda was overdue, we hadn't had dinner with her in over 6 weeks so we had to make it happen this week. We went to Souplantation, and ladies and gentlemen it was delicious, we loved it. I might have eaten a bit too much but hey it's ok, it is after all a monthly treat, the only bad thing is I that I was so full I couldn't have dessert which means we'll have to go back so I can determine if those are good too.
