Baby #3 - Week 14

Cravings - Burgers and watermelon
Dislike - Waking up ugh

I feel like I am growing really really fast this time around. I already look like I ate a big meal and there is a bump there, I wonder what I'll look like in 10 or 20 weeks, yikes. I also feel heavier, my knees have started hurting and my sciatica is already acting up. I guess carrying 2 toddlers and being pregnant may do more damage than I thought haha. It's not too bad though, I am just taking extra precautions to protect my knees and my back. 

I am still super tired. I just want to sleep!!! I don't know if it is because Ant has been having a few bad nights lately, or of it is because of pregnancy, or both. In any case I am exhausted ALL the time, ALL THE TIME. I also threw up this week more than usual, but I know that'll stop soon, it's fine. 

I am having a really hard time finding motivation to get ready, I'll shower and get dressed but there isn't much thought into what I am wearing and doing my hair and putting makeup on seem like terrible ideas. I wish I would just do it so I look better throughout the weeks, but it's just not happening right now. 

We still haven't gone to the doctor, but started all the process to get me insured again. So I should be able to make an appointment soon enough.

Baby #3 - Week 13

Well here we go again....

Dislike - Nothing in particular

Taking pictures with two toddlers isn't easy but it is fun!!! We took a bit starting the pictures but here we are at week 13. I am so tired all the time I really think I could fall asleep anywhere, anytime. I am nauseous too but it's really not bad at all, so far I've thrown up 3 or 4 times total. 

We still haven't gone to the doctor but I am pretty sure my estimations are right and our due date is December 5th so we are anticipating a baby mid-December with the way things go around here. We have started talking to the girls about the baby. Emi has no idea what we are talking about, Ant points at my belly and tells me there is a baby there, and then points at hers and says the same thing ha. 

We are so excited! 

We are adding an act to the circus

One more baby!!! We are so excited to add another baby to our life. We love our family and we love being parents so the news are thrilling and fun for us. I can't get over how beautiful my family is, I can't get over how blessed I am. We have crazy days, rough days, but every night we go to bed and think "this is a good life." God is good and he has been faithful to His promises to us. We know the journey has just begun and we are looking forward to what is ahead while enjoying today.

Baby # 3 we can't wait to meet you and see what kind of fun you add to the Luehmann Circus.

Christmas Pictures

The amazing Alex from Alexandra Marie Photography took pictures of us for our 2014 Christmas card. She is truly and amazing photographer and even though my girls were not cooperating I loved loved loved our pictures. 

To the big sister

Today there was a lot of crying in my house. Pregnancy hormones just ran rampant and tears came and went. 

After I put Antonella down for a nap and instructed her not to get out of bed because she was a big girl now, I realized indeed she had to be. Today was the last day in her life I was going to put her in her new exciting toddler bed as an only child. She will never again be the only Luehmann girl, and I cried. I cried because my baby is growing and I seem to miss most of it, and I cried because she's about to receive the most amazing gift one could be given, a best friend for life. 

I wrote to Antonella right before she was born here, and I will do a belly progression for Emiliana and share what I wrote to her. But I thought I needed to write to my first born today. 

Nothing could have prepared me for the last 18 months, no book, no movie, no story. Nobody could have ever explained the type of love I was going to feel for you. Everyday I seem to fall in love with you more and more, and unaware you do new things that make me realize you own such an enormous part of my heart, you can wreck it with just a smile. 

For 18 months I've looked down at you while you sleep and I've prayed for you. I've prayed for wisdom, I've prayed for a unique sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, I've prayed for you to see yourself through the Lord's eyes and not your own, I've prayed for a life full of adventures guided by His hand. And over and over and over again, my prayers turn to thanksgiving. I see your father standing next to me praying just as fervently for you and me, then I look back at you and every time without fail I tell God: THANK YOU! I don't deserve this but thank you! 

So my daughter; crazy, curious, rambunctious, wild daughter; I have enjoyed every second of us 3 being a family. I have loved getting to know you and learning everything about you. It has been an honor to parent you alongside Papa. And I cannot wait to see you as a big sister, I have no doubt you will be the most fun, most encouraging, most supportive, most incredible big sister. 

Antonella from now on it is 4 of us, you have to teach Emiliana our ways, you must show her all of our dance moves, secret bird calls, and weird words. You get to introduce her to papa's amazing grilled cheese sandwiches, and momma's ok food. From tomorrow on you will have in Emiliana the most incredible ally, the best of friends, and the most fun of partners. You will never have to feel alone because you will have a sister that will stand with you always, she will be able to read your mind, and know everything about you. You two will make everyone wish they had what you will have, and together you will take over the world and do all the Lord has sent to you do. 

I love you, momma. 

Vacation 2013 - Day 2

Vacation 2013

So day one of our vacation we slept in at home and then headed to LA for some Colombian food (which Antonella loved!!) and some time at The Grove because it is our favorite. Our car was so full you could barely see the baby haha but she got used to it quickly and started the trip with a nice nap. 

Balloon party

 

Pinterest is a problem in my life, I see ideas there and I want to execute them all, some are good, some are bad, some are impossible. Well I saw this idea to fill the crib with balloons on the morning of baby's birthday and that sounds fun and all except when your baby thinks crib time means I gotta sleep and I just woke up, and why am I still in this crib, get me out, get me out, get me out, get me out!

So out she went and a balloon party continued in her bedroom. For about 40 minutes Antonella kicked confetti filled balloons while Caleb and I took pictures, and laughed, and played with her. It was a fun way to celebrate her birthday morning. Thank goodness no balloons popped!
