Grandma doesn't like pictures; she claims there is no need to photograph wrinkles, silly woman. But Caleb sat on her lap and once she couldn't move we were able to snap one of her!
We made it to Girardot, went to the store, bought a few groceries and went back to the condo to eat and rest. Watched movies and enjoyed the 90 degree, 90% humidity weather; quite a change from Bogota's 50F.
We woke up early and husband was eager to go to the pool and get some color; and so he did. He was down there for 4 hours straight; I joined him just for about 30 minutes; too hot and too sunny for my brown skin. Some of my mom's cousins came to visit since they were close by and we spent time with them too.
It was nice to spend time with family. We are happy to see Mom's marriage restored (God is big, nothing is impossible for Him, just ask my Mom and her husband!). We love spending time with grandma and pulling her into our prayer times, seeing her engaged in prayer with us is priceless. And as always time with my siblings is always remarkable! We have been blessed with the best siblings in the world.
Girardot was fun and quite relaxing, I really think we needed this time away to re-focus and recharge.
