Glamour UK from a fun blog

So, last week I saw this entry on one of my favorite blogs and I thought two things: I agreed wholeheartedly with Lena's statement and the boy in the picture above looks sickly and sad. 

I love everything she's wearing in that editorial and I decided to start with what I already own. Red pants and leopard high heels. Outfit for church brought to you by Glamour UK and Quality Rivets.

Christmas party

We had the Ministry team Christmas party last Sunday at the house of our friends Brandon and Julia. There was a white elephant gift exchange involved with the theme of circus. It was so much fun. Caleb and I came back home with a horn and a big can of popcorn. Our pastors Ben and Katie put the party together for all of us, we are so blessed to have such amazing pastors. I love our friends and serving alongside them at Urban Church. 

First Sunday

Last Sunday we had First Sunday at church. It was so amazing, we had the more people we've ever had and everyone was just having such a wonderful time. K and I were helping in Kids and later we helped with all the logistics of First Sunday, We really love being able to help with our church and the people that come. All that to say I am excited for this coming Sunday!!

Birthday Party

And the Birthday celebration continues.... we had a small party for last night. Some of our closest friends came over to our place for some s'mores, hot chocolate and to love on Caleb. We had such a great time and my love felt so so special. I am so grateful for our friends, they make it easier being away from family.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Miss Hannah Miller was having a birthday on Saturday so without hesitation I made my wa to their house to sing to her and celebrate. My friend Mel, Hannah's mom, made clam chowder and hot apple cider and it was all so delicious. Hannah wanted a Jessie cake, from Toy Story, and she got a homemade awesome cake! 

I am glad I got to spend time with Miss Hannah on her birthday, she is such a sweet girl, I love seeing her grow and change as time goes by.

Getting pretty for my love!

Husband had his birthday as you all know, so I decided to get my nails done and I put masks on my face and hair to be pretty for him. He loved it!! If you are married I encourage you to get pretty for your husband every now and then, they really love when we are happy!

My K turned 31 yesterday but he had to work all day so we won't celebrate properly until next Tuesday. He did however get gifts and got spoiled in the morning and at night when he got home. Here are a couple pictures of his gifts (by the way 3 out of 4 of this gifts I got with groupons, I love saving yet being able to give good gifts).

Christmas tree

My Christmas tree is up and ready to make my house feel like Christmas... We also got really cute stockings from my aunt in Colombia so we put them up and that's all I am planning on doing. I really don't want to spend that much money on Christmas and it's all more fun if you build up over the years.

Now to prepare for K's birthday!!

Best Face Wash

Remember I mentioned my Mother in law has tons and tons and tons and tons of products in her shower? Well it's no different for the rest of the bathroom, creams, hair products, medicine cabinet, nail polish, etc. While we were visiting last week I decided to try this Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid Face wash and I loved it. I can't use it every night because my skin is not oily but I am using it every other day and it's phenomenal.

If you, like me, have not grown out of the teenage years and still break out every now and then I recommended it, it's wonderful and leaves my skin feeling great.

Setting up for Christmas

We are still working on our tree because we had never had a Christmas tree before so we have no topper, not enough lights, not enough decorations.... when it's finished we'll come back... But yay Christmas is at the Luehmann's for the first time
